Charting Course to Success

From the earliest time I could remember what I wanted to do after high school, I knew that I wanted to own my own business. However, the bigger question was, what business? I went through most of middle school and high school still not knowing how to pursue this dream. It was during my junior year that my dad and I saw a video of a similar idea in Florida. We talked about it and decided, why couldn't we do this? From then on, we set out to build our business and be ready to set sail that summer. We spent months finding a boat, fixing it up, buying freezers, setting up power, and many other things to be ready to bring you your favorite floating ice cream shop. It hasn’t always been easy or even profitable at times, but it is something I have loved doing because of the joy it brings everyone when we are out.
